Corp man is “Corpse man” according the President Obama and the Press “Corpse” ignores it.

If President Bush had said “corpse man” instead of “corps man” the press would have been all over it.  Instead the stenographers in Washington ignore it.  I should say, the “Press Corpse” in Washington ignores it.

How appropriate that the President would refer to them as the “Press Corpse” – they are dead to their jobs and let personal biases guide their reporting.

Global Warming means no snow or cold in RC, RFK Jr.

Great point, read the rest from at the Washington Examiner:

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who flies around on private planes so as to tell larger numbers of people how they must live their lives in order to save the planet, wrote a column last year on the lack of winter weather in Washington, D.C.
RFK Jr, 2008:  Recently arrived residents in the northern suburbs, accustomed to today’s anemic winters, might find it astonishing to learn that there were once ski runs on Ballantrae Hill in McLean, with a rope tow and local ski club. Snow is so scarce today that most Virginia children probably don’t own a sled.  http://www.robertfkennedyjr.com/articles/2008_sep_Los_angeles_times.html

Lech Walesa’s warning to America about world leadership

The United States is only one superpower. Today they lead the world. Nobody has doubts about it. Militarily.  They also lead economically but they’re getting weak. But they don’t lead morally and politically anymore.  The world has no leadership.  The United States was always the last resort and hope for all other nations.  There was the hope, whenever something was going wrong, one could count on the United States.  Today, we lost that hope.

Pelosi: Where Are the Jobs, Mr. President?

I’m sure a similar statement will be forthcoming shortly for 2010:

Pelosi: Where Are the Jobs, Mr. President?

August 1, 2003

Washington, D.C. — House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ announcement that 470,000 people abandoned their job searches in July and that 3.2 million private sector jobs have been lost since President Bush took office:

“The fact is that President Bush’s misguided economic policies have failed to create jobs. Since President Bush took office, the country has lost 3.2 million jobs, the worst record since President Hoover. And today we learned that in July nearly half a million people gave up looking for a job.

“Job losses are taking a real toll on the financial security of American families. While Democrats are fighting for opportunity, jobs, and economic security for working families, Republicans continue to focus on helping those who need help the least.

“According to today’s survey, while the national unemployment rate dropped slightly, it still stands at a near record high. In addition, the unemployment rate for African Americans was still over 11 percent in July, and the unemployment rate for Hispanics was 8.2 percent in July.

“It is time for President Bush and the Republicans to get to work for all Americans, not just the elite few.”
