GAWKER: Arrest Climate-Change Deniers

The totalitarian, authoritarians, “progressives,” anti-freedom, and anti-liberty brigade at Gawker.com published an article today with the title “GAWKER: Arrest Climate-Change Deniers”.

It is difficult to know where to begin, but the idea that “bad ideas” – as determined by some all powerful group – should be criminalized is ludicrous and would be the end of a free society.

Kobe Bryant: Well, we’ve progressed as a society, then don’t jump to somebody’s defense just because they’re African-American. You sit and you listen to the facts just like you would in any other situation, right?

According to Colorlines.com Kobe stated:

“I won’t react to something just because I’m supposed to, because I’m an African-American,” he said. “That argument doesn’t make any sense to me. So we want to advance as a society and a culture, but, say, if something happens to an African-American we immediately come to his defense? Yet you want to talk about how far we’ve progressed as a society? Well, we’ve progressed as a society, then don’t jump to somebody’s defense just because they’re African-American. You sit and you listen to the facts just like you would in any other situation, right? So I won’t assert myself.

They continue:

The profile goes on to quote former NFL running back Jim Brown, who at one point said, “[Kobe] is somewhat confused about culture, because he was brought up in another country.” Bryant then defended himself on Twitter, writing, “A ‘Global’ African American is an inferior shade to ‘American’ African American?? #hmmm. that doesn’t sound very #Mandela or #DrKing sir.”

When our engineers work tirelessly to improve security, we imagine we’re protecting you against criminals, not our own government.”

“When our engineers work tirelessly to improve security, we imagine we’re protecting you against criminals, not our own government.” Facebook’s Mark  Zuckerberg said, March 13, 2014

What else is there to say?  Synonymous?

IRONY and HYPOCRISY Senator Dianne Feinstein blasted the CIA for allegedly tracking Congressional computer network searches

Senator Hypocrite Dianne Feinstein is now outraged that the CIA spied on Senate computers. Of course when the NSA does it to the entire country, she thought it was a great idea.

Of course she wants gun control for everyone else, yet has carried one herself.

Do as I say not as I do, is that it Dianne?

Fifth Third Bank Does not Respect (or RSPECT) customers or potential customers

Fifth Third bank does not respect their customers and will harass you even when you are not who they are looking for. The first call was polite, but provided little information: “Hi, my name is Rashida (sp?) calling from 5/3 (aka Fifth Third) bank looking for ‘Mark Sanford'”. She was polite on the voicemail.

Next they called a second time shortly thereafter asked if “Mark Stanford” was here, and I said, no he isn’t at this number and he said a few more things. When I asked what it was about, they said “a personal business matter, are you that person?” I said, “I already answered that” and the guy said “Well, you have a nice day because you are being ignorant.” From the voice of the person and their wanting to “ax” questions, I wonder about the quality of Fifth Third employees. Fifth Third certainly does not train their representatives from “corporate headquarters” (866-450-0037 from caller ID, 866-599-0843 from the number they said to call back on) customer service.

I thought that was the end, but in the last 5 days I have gotten several calls from other “professionals” including the “ignorant” customer service representative again. This is why I do not bank with Fifth Third Bank.

Obama: cut cable and household budget to pay for health insurance

Big Brother Obama tells us what is best for us and how to spend our money:

“if you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill… it may turn out that, it’s just they haven’t prioritized health care.” He then stated that if a family member gets sick, the father “will wish he had paid that $300 a month.”
