Great video from Real Clear Politics showing Obama Campaigned against a spending freeze at least four times during the campaign. And yet The Washington Post reports that President Obama will propose a spending freeze in his 2010 State of the Union Address.

Economists warn of danger in not confirming Bernanke
AP reports this morning that “Economists warn a defeat of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s quest for another four-year term could raise the risk of a double dip recession.” Remember that these are the same “economists” who get in the paper each week because there is “unexpected” or “surprising” economic news, whether “it” is “unexpectedly lower” or “surprisingly higher” it never fails. If the economists were really so smart, they wouldn’t be consistently surprised. The problems with Bernanke’s tenure have Continue reading Economists warn of danger in not confirming Bernanke
Hard work and be kind – Conan O’Brien
Please do not be cynical. I hate cynicism. For the record its my least favorite quality. It doesn’t lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you are kind amazing things will happen. I’m telling you, amazing things will happen. Its just true.

Some good advice.
Specter tells Bachmann to “act like a lady”
I’m going to treat you like a lady. Now act like one. – Arlen Specter to Michele Bachmann
Along those lines and much more importantly, we suggest that Arlen Specter start acting like someone who has actually read the Constitution, act like someone who cares about his oath to protect and defend the Constitution, and act like someone who cares about freedom more than his own power.
10 Tips for the GOP in 2010, well 11 tips.
In the Wall Street Journal, January 10, 2010 Clark S. Judge give the GOP ten tips for 2010. All are valuable tips, but we would like to add an eleventh tip which will help enable the agenda of liberty and freedom. Specifically:
Clark S. Judge makes some terrific points in his January 11, 2010 article, however I believe that the Republicans are missing a big opportunity if they do not add a number eleven to his list. Republicans – and Democrats – lament that it is difficult to keep the electorate engaged for long periods, thus the Democrats have created a state of perpetual chaos and crisis while proposing coercion from Washington as the solution. Republicans need an issue that Continue reading 10 Tips for the GOP in 2010, well 11 tips.

FBI Broke the law for years
The Washington Post today reports that the FBI collected more than 2000 telephone call records between 2002 and 2006 illegally. Yet again, it is shown that the government can not be trusted to follow its own laws and absolute power corrupts absolutely. When will the people learn that the Founders knew what they are talking about? They knew the only way to preserver liberty was to limit the powers of government.
Judge by the content of their character not the color of their skin…
Today I resolve to only listen to those who by their words and actions only judge people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, religion, or gender, racists and sexists, in short.
- I will no longer hear people who worry about whether someone is a “light skinned Negro” without a “dialect.” Senator Harry Reid (D, Nevada). Racist!
- I will no longer hear people who call their grandmother a “typical white person.” Barack Obama (D-Illinois). Racist!
- I will no longer hear people who state “a wise Latina woman … would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male.” Justice Sotomayor (D). Sexist and Racist!
- I will no longer hear people who refer to people as “mongrels,” were members of the Continue reading Judge by the content of their character not the color of their skin…
MSNBC’s Ed Schultz says “cheat” – advocates voter fraud!
“SCHULTZ (23:02): I tell you what, if I lived in Massachusetts I’d try to vote 10 times. I don’t know if they’d let me or not, but I’d try to. Yeah, that’s right. I’d cheat to keep these bastards out. I would. ‘Cause that’s exactly what they are.” – Radio Equalizer’s Brian Maloney, see here.
You have to wonder who MSNBC is hiring here. A Democrat MSNBC spokesperson stating he’d commit voter fraud. I guess when all you care about is POWER, it is not unexpected.
