I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life” – Judge Sonia Sotomayor, 2001

Yet another quality racist in the Obama Administration.  At least she is honest about her racism and sexism.  Not that that should be any comfort for people concerned with the rule of law from a potential Justice of the Supreme Court.  Sotomayor is completely and outrageously a sexist bigot.  One marvels at the audacity to nominate her to the United States Supreme Court.

We do not judge people on skin color, gender or anything else except legal issues.  Those are exactly what a judge should not use to decide a case, only what a sexist, racist, bigot would use.

court of appeals is where policy is made. Sonia Sotomayor

A “court of appeals is where policy is made. .. And I know — I know this is on tape, and I should never say that because we don’t make law. I know. O.K. I know. I’m not promoting it. I’m not advocating it. I’m — you know.”  Judge Sonia Sotomayor, 2005

Displaying her well-known eloquence, and lack of respect for the law, Judge Sonia Sotomayor in 2005 discussing making policy from the bench.  I would urge Sotomayor to read the Constitution of the United States, the Federalist papers and the Anti-Federalist papers.  This is one person who needs to educate herself on the founding of this country.

Sotomayer is the antithesis of a judge or Justice. Compare her power-hungry philosophy with John Adams seeking to establish “a government of laws and not of men.”  Or since she is so cognizant of gender and race, a “government of laws and not of hispanic women.”

Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences [for jurists who are women and nonwhite] our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging.

Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences [for jurists who are women and nonwhite] our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging.

More rampant racism and sexism from the current nominee to the Supreme Court.

One item that surprises one the most is her statement about “national origins.”  One would hope that judges and Justices are Americans so “national origins” would be irrelevant, but for this Judge, apparently not.

Obama White House snubs kindergarteners for NFL Players

More than 100 kindergarteners were from Conway Elementary School in Stafford County, VA were snubbed by the White House.  They were “a little later than planned,”  and arrived at 10:25am “just 10 minutes late for their scheduled tour” instead of 10:15am.  The White House says they were supposed to be there at 9:30am and that they held the gates open until 10:30am.
(see http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/Kindergarteners-Snubbed-for-Steelers.html)
Some notes:
1. It is good to see that the union teachers and the parents are lying about when they were supposed to be there.  They say 10:15am and the White House says 9:30am.  The White House could not possibly lie in order to save face.
2. It is also nice to see that the union teachers MUST be lying that they were there 10:25am when the White House says they weren’t there before 10:30am.
Lessons for the kids:
1. Get there early for something this important.  Do a dry run if you aren’t sure about the time it will take and then add extra to that.
2. It is acceptable to be late to most engagements if you are the President, but no one else can.  Do as I say, not as I do.  The Imperial Presidency.
The kindergarteners should be crying, but not because they didn’t get a tour of the White House. Cry about the things that matter: TRILLIONS IN DEBT.  Socialize Medicine. Loss of Liberty.

President Obama stood for change, but all he has done is brought negative economic change…hypocrisy shown by this administration.

I am disappointed at the hypocrisy shown by this administration.  President Obama is coming to Las Vegas later this month for a political fundraiser, but he will not help the struggling families in Las Vegas and Nevada who are out of work because of his reckless comments [comments in early 2009 regarding Las Vegas business trips].  … [A]pparently our money is good enough for the President, but our tourism, jobs, and economic future are not. This is politics, pure and simple, President Obama stood for change, but all he has done is brought negative economic change to Nevada.   Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons, May 18, 2009

Anderson’s ‘Buy Black’ becomes a national racist movement!

Maggie and John Anderson of Chicago vowed four months ago that for one year, they would try to patronize only black-owned businesses. The “Empowerment Experiment” is the reason John had to suffer for hours with a stomach ache and Maggie no longer gets that brand-name lather when she washes her hair. … Now, the Andersons are following up with 4,000 people who signed up for the experiment on their Web site to gauge their commitment and set up online accounts to track their spending.  http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D984SLN80&show_article=1

Can you imagine the outrage if anyone started a “Buy White” movement?  Instead, let’s try a “buy human” experiment?  Only buy from human owned businesses.  Every other distinction is racist. Continue reading Anderson’s ‘Buy Black’ becomes a national racist movement!

Powell calls for centrism, cares little for Liberty

Colin Powell called for a more centrist Republican party on Tuesday (May 5, 2009).  Whether Powell is a dupe or a closet statist isn’t clear yet, but it looks to be the later.

Mr. Powell, when you cave in on principles and on the defense of liberty you lose.  Perhaps you didn’t realize you were fighting for the freedom Continue reading Powell calls for centrism, cares little for Liberty

Americans do want to pay taxes for services – Powell

Colin Powell called for a more centrist Republican party on Tuesday (May 5, 2009). In part he stated:

Americans do want to pay taxes for services. Americans are looking for more government in their life, not less.

Powell must have missed recent statistics on who pays the taxes, but we can fix his quotation for him:

Some Americans do want OTHER PEOPLE to pay taxes for THEIR services.

There, we fixed that.
