It turns out that Ross Perot’s giant sucking sound was not the sound of jobs leaving the US for Mexico. Instead it was the sound of 1 out of every 6 dollars being sucked from the pockets of people who earned the money and given as handouts to people who did not.

* Benefits, such as Social Security, food stamps, unemployment insurance and health care, accounted for 16.2% of personal income in the first quarter of 2009, the highest ever (since 1929 when records started)
One of Ayn Rand’s quotations from years ago is very apropos: Observe that any social movement which begins by redistributing income, ends up by distributing sacrifices.
There is only one way for a scheme to take earned money from one group and give it to another will end, just as the scheme in the U.S. South which took the earnings from the slaves and gave it to the planation owners ended – badly. It has happened any place where one group believed they had the right to make sacrificial sheep out of another group, no matter how good they thought their purposes were.
Anyone who disagrees is deluding themselves into ignoring the fact that no matter how hard they attempt to deny it or no matter how hard they want to believe their motives are pure, they are the plantation owners using force to make another group work for them. It was wrong in the South and is wrong now. But at least the racist, sexist bigot Sonia Sotomayor seems to approve of schemes like that of the South which classify people according to gender and ‘race.’
Personally, I thought we were always part of the human race, but apparently there still exists racist, sexists, bigots think otherwise.

Obama tries to demonstrated that his heart is bigger by spending the fruit of your lives. It is easy to have a “bigger” heart when you are giving away other people’s money, and consequently the hours of their lives, without having to work for it.
After all the politicians in the South thought the slave owners had big hearts too – all funded on the backs of the slaves, and all “for a good cause, and fairness.” Of course, if you ask “fair to whom” and “fair based on who’s judgment” the entire facade then fell apart.
Note that you never hear talk about how it is “fair” to let people work for themselves and keep the products of their own work. In the modern political lexicon, keeping the fruit of your labors is “unfair” on its face. When one side has the position of government control of your lives and the other has no principled opposition, it merely becomes a bargaining war over who can buy votes through government hand-outs and the side of big government can always do that.

If the name “La Raza” (‘The Race”) isn’t crazy enough, the concept of a United States citizen being at all concerned about race is completely insane. If Ms Murguia is more concerned about her “race” than about the United States, we would like to suggest she go elsewhere. Perhaps back in time before 1865 where there were so many open racists. She should feel quite at home. And Sonia Sotomayor should be equally at home with the racist, sexist bigots who were so common at the time. The Supreme Court is supposed to be about laws, not about race or skin color or gender.

While speaking about Sonia Sotomayor, President Obama stated that justices are “charged with the vital task of applying principles put to paper more than 20 centuries ago” May 26, 2009 (see YouTube).
Where was the press endlessly repeating how “stupid” the President is or how uninformed? Yet another example.

Yet another quality racist in the Obama Administration. At least she is honest about her racism and sexism. Not that that should be any comfort for people concerned with the rule of law from a potential Justice of the Supreme Court. Sotomayor is completely and outrageously a sexist bigot. One marvels at the audacity to nominate her to the United States Supreme Court.
We do not judge people on skin color, gender or anything else except legal issues. Those are exactly what a judge should not use to decide a case, only what a sexist, racist, bigot would use.

Displaying her well-known eloquence, and lack of respect for the law, Judge Sonia Sotomayor in 2005 discussing making policy from the bench. I would urge Sotomayor to read the Constitution of the United States, the Federalist papers and the Anti-Federalist papers. This is one person who needs to educate herself on the founding of this country.
Sotomayer is the antithesis of a judge or Justice. Compare her power-hungry philosophy with John Adams seeking to establish “a government of laws and not of men.” Or since she is so cognizant of gender and race, a “government of laws and not of hispanic women.”
Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences [for jurists who are women and nonwhite] our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging.
More rampant racism and sexism from the current nominee to the Supreme Court.
One item that surprises one the most is her statement about “national origins.” One would hope that judges and Justices are Americans so “national origins” would be irrelevant, but for this Judge, apparently not.
More than 100 kindergarteners were from Conway Elementary School in Stafford County, VA were snubbed by the White House. They were “a little later than planned,” and arrived at 10:25am “just 10 minutes late for their scheduled tour” instead of 10:15am. The White House says they were supposed to be there at 9:30am and that they held the gates open until 10:30am.

Some notes:
1. It is good to see that the union teachers and the parents are lying about when they were supposed to be there. They say 10:15am and the White House says 9:30am. The White House could not possibly lie in order to save face.
2. It is also nice to see that the union teachers MUST be lying that they were there 10:25am when the White House says they weren’t there before 10:30am.
Lessons for the kids:
1. Get there early for something this important. Do a dry run if you aren’t sure about the time it will take and then add extra to that.
2. It is acceptable to be late to most engagements if you are the President, but no one else can. Do as I say, not as I do. The Imperial Presidency.
The kindergarteners should be crying, but not because they didn’t get a tour of the White House. Cry about the things that matter: TRILLIONS IN DEBT. Socialize Medicine. Loss of Liberty.
