Will McCain fool Arizona voters once again?
The headline AP “McCain, Tacking Right, Seeks Primary Victory” says all you need to know to understand Senator McCain. When you have no core values and no core principles, it is easy to “tack right.” McCain is a duplicitous politician who is willing to change his views depending upon the direction of the wind in order to retain his power. The McCain voting record speaks for itself and it is foolish to think that “this time is different” and McCain won’t turn into a RINO after the polls close today.

Ron Paul states that opposition to the mosque near Ground Zero “is all about hate and Islamaphobia” and that the “justification to ban the mosque is no more rational than banning a soccer field in the same place because all the suicide bombers loved to play soccer.”
With all due respect to Ron Paul, he is wrong. Dismissing opposition as being due to “hate” and “Islamaphobia” is short-sighted and ignorant. In a free country people are allowed to object and disagree. One would think that someone who loves freedom as much as Ron Paul would understand that. Few people are suggesting that the government should step in and stop the mosque, they are suggesting though that if the goal is really “out-reach” that the location be changed.
Larry King’s replacement, Piers Morgan has Visa issues
British journalist and “America’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan, who is widely thought to be King’s replacement, is apparently having trouble obtaining a work visa. NYPost reports.
The easy solution for Piers Morgan:
1. Go to Mexico.
2. Cross the border
3. Work.
4. Claim anyone who asks for ID is “racist.”
Problem solved.
North Carolina forensic lab ‘ignores, twists evidence’ according to
The News & Observer of Raleigh, North Carolina reports that at least in some cases that the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NC SBI) lab has “ignored evidence” and “twist reports and court testimony when the trust threatened to undermine their cases.” “At the bureau’s crime lab, agents charged with using science to solve crimes have hidden test results or withheld notes that suggested the opposite of findings presented to the courts.”
The police anywhere must be above reproach incidents like this impact individual defendants and the trust that police officers have to rely upon. The North Carolina SBI should be embarrassed and must take steps to immediately clean up the mess. Power corrupts. In a somewhat related story, the science of DNA test statistics has come under scrutiny. In part, the article states:
“The DNA analyst who testified in Smith’s trial said the chances of the DNA coming from someone other than Jackson were 1 in 95,000. But both the prosecution and the analyst’s supervisor said the odds were more like 1 in 47. A later review of the evidence suggested that the chances of the second person’s DNA coming from someone other than Jackson were closer to 1 in 13, while a different statistical method said the chance of seeing this evidence if the DNA came from Jackson is only twice that of the chance of seeing it if it came from someone else.”
Racist Senator Harry Reid’s “tone darker” racist comments

Senator Harry Reid again shows he is a racist by bringing up the color of people’s skin. We know that Senator Reid is obsessed with the color of people’s skin, but get over it, the rest of us do not care. Many thought we had eliminated racists like Harry Reid years ago, but the people of Nevada have kept re-electing him. Yes, Senator Harry “Racist” Reid projects his own racism and attempts to confused the voters by bringing up skin color, but Senator Reid, please repent your racist statements, skin color is irrelevant. Unless you are a racist. Just like eye color. Overt racism like Senator Reid’s is odious and it is disgusting to see a United States Senator so obsessed with skin color that he brings it up continually.
Racist Senator Harry Reid also needs to stop avoiding the issues, yes, we are “a nation of immigrants”. That is obvious. What is also obvious is that it is LEGAL immigrants. Senator, legal immigration is fine, so stop trying to confuse your voters. No one has a problem with legal immigration. The problem is that the first act of illegal immigrants is to break the law! The fact that they are “illegal” means they broke the law. Would you invite someone to stay in your house after they had just broken a window to get in? If so, please post your address, there are a lot of illegal immigrants who might like a place to stay.
The Las Vegas Review Journal speaks of illegal immigrants who “sneak in.” Would you say: “Home invaders sneaked in and ate my food and took my money.” “Bank robbers sneaked in and stole the jewels.” Ah, NO. Both broke in and broke the law in the process. The issue is the United States has laws and borders for a reason just like every other country. Immigration is great, but rewarding illegal immigration is not.
