Patriots today see government in Washington as an expensive, intrusive institution that limits our freedoms, punishes success, invests in failure and is willing to commit our sons and daughters to far-flung adventures in the name of international comity.Today’s American patriots see many of those who govern as self-serving power brokers, interested less in the public good than in their own political potency.
