60 second solution to the Health Care debate

Instead of the Washington, DC photo op, here is a 60 second overview that would fix the health insurance system if it is going to be fixed from Washington.

1. Cross state competition – allow YOU to buy insurance from any company in any state.

2. Lawsuit reform to end frivolous lawsuits.

3. Allow Doctor recommended treatments.

4. Pre-existing conditions ignored during a one-month open enrollment period each year.

5. Portability.  You leave your job, you can take your health insurance with you.

6. Equalize tax treatment of health insurance.

These six items, all freedom oriented, would solve the “health insurance problem.”

Let freedom work.  You don’t have “food” insurance.  You don’t have “water” insurance.  Both are much more important than health insurance and competition has provided a surfeit of both.  You know what works best for YOU.  Let freedom work.

Parasites vs Freedom debate today in Washington

The televised debate today between the parasites and those who want freedom will be taking place to day in Washington, DC.  One can only hope that freedom prevails.  If the “center” is between freedom and statism then who wants to be in the center?  There is no “middle ground” between you and your enslavers.  There is no middle ground between you and your destroyers.

One wonders why these people don’t want to take responsibility for themselves and expect to be treated as children who need to be taken care of by someone else.

Obama, “We will ax…” instead of ASK.

Obama, said “We will ax…” while talking about education!  Mr. President, it is ASK.

Racist Senator Harry “no Negro dialect” Reid, please call your office.  (Racist Reid described Obama thusly: “a black candidate who would benefit from his ‘light-skinned’ appearance and speaking patterns ‘with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.’) If Bush or Qualye misspoke, the MSM would be all over it as an indication of intelligence. Yet here it is ignored. The double standard is at work again.

Obama Admin pushes for tracking all cell phones

[T]he Obama administration has argued that warrantless tracking is permitted because Americans enjoy no “reasonable expectation of privacy” in their–or at least their cell phones’.

The question is not only whether the Fourth Amendment prohibits it, the question is where in the Constitution the Federal Government is given the power to do so and the answer is nowhere.
