I exercise regularly. I eat moderate amounts of healthy food. I make sure to get plenty of rest. I see my doctor once a year and my dentist twice a year. I floss every night. I’ve had chest x–rays, cardio stress tests, EKG’s and colonoscopies. I see a psychologist and have a variety of hobbies to reduce stress. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I don’t do drugs. I don’t have crazy, reckless sex with strangers.
If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I’m gonna be really pissed.

Bloggers blame Sarah Palin for Gabrielle Giffords shooting
After seeing bloggers trying to blame Sarah Palin for the Gabrielle Giffords shooting today, a few facts should be stated:
1. Jared Lee Loughner lists among his favorite books Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/Classitup10). None of those would be listed by any Republican or Tea Partier as favorite books. Both favor a large, central, all-powerful government controlling the citizens.
2. Jared Lee Loughner’s High School friend on twitter (http://twitter.com/caitieparker) says he was a “left wing” pot head.
3. Jared Lee Loughner writes using the terms “B.C.E”. Loughner hated “In God We Trust.” Both of which show he is not a Christian.
4. Loughner is reportedly a registered “independent”.
5. Loughner shot and killed a Republican Federal Judge. Does that make him a Democrat?
6. CNN used the name “Crossfire” for a show for nearly 25 years (1982-2005). That is 23 years of indoctrinating people to think of political debate as “Crossfire”.
[Update] 7. Loughner had sent Representative Giffords a letter in 2007. More than a year prior to Sarah Palin being a household name.
[Update 1/12/2010] 8. “He did not watch TV. He disliked the news. He didn’t listen to political radio” according to a friend.
Update 1/17/2010] 9. The New York Times reports that Loughner was a Present Bush hater – “His anger would well up at the sight of President George W. Bush”.
Saying Sarah Palin is to blame, the Tea Party, the Republican party – or for that matter the Democratic party – is nuts. It sounds like something that this nut job would say! The blame belongs with an insane killer. No one else. But don’t let any facts get in the way of a good smear.
Concentrate on the victims, not trying to pin it on someone else.
Regarding the Communist Manifesto, Conservatives generally want small government with power widely distributed and closer to the voter with most decisions left to the individual. (The left wing wants larger, more centralized government. Once the differences are stated it becomes clear that one side wants power in government, the other freedom to the people. Groups that want large government are the fascists, socialists, and communists – in other words statists and dictators like the Nazi Socialists, the USSR, Mao’s Socialists. All of whom were willing to kill millions of people in order to establish their social order. All of whom wanted a strong, central, powerful government in order to impose their will on everyone else “for their own good.”
The choice is easy: freedom or government. Life and liberty vs power and control.
Sen Jay Rockefeller get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: ‘Out. Off. End. Goodbye.’
“There’s a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: ‘Out. Off. End. Goodbye.’ It would be a big favor to political discourse; our ability to do our work here in Congress, and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and more importantly, in their future.” Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV)
1. FoxNews and MSNBC are not on the airwaves, consequently the FCC has no jurisdiction.
2. Senator Jay Rockefeller must have missed at least part of the First Amendment to the Constitution, not to mention the entire Constitution itself.
What are the people of West Virginia thinking electing a clown like Rockefeller? He is right, without a press that is able to publish the truth, the Federal Government’s big-government, power-hungry politicians, would be able to ‘get away’ with a lot more. The First Amendment protects the country against the likes of Rockefeller.
AP … journalists in all 52 states.
An AP internal memo claiming that CNN is taking (extremely biased anti-freedom) AP content without paying for it notes that they have “text, video and still photography journalists in all 52 states.” Didn’t they know that the President believed he had visited 57 states during the campaign?
AP MEMO:
For internal use only; not for external distribution The Associated Press and CNN When AP and CNN could not reach agreement on licensing AP content, it meant CNN would no longer have access to the breaking news and worldwide reporting resources of the Associated Press. “We will no longer use AP materials or services,” CNN Worldwide President Jim Walton told employees in an internal memo in June. “The content we offer will be distinctive, compelling and, I am proud to say, our own.”
…
AP is a not for profit organization founded 164 years ago as a text service, and is now a multimedia news organization with text, video and still photography journalists in all 52 states.
57 States Quotation;
“It is to be back in Oregon. Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it.” then-candidate Obama May 2008
McCartney on Bush: ‘It’s Great To Have A President Who Knows What A Library Is’…
‘It’s Great To Have A President Who Knows What A Library Is’… Paul McCartney
This coming from the super-well-educated Paul McCartney who was born in 1942 and left school in 1960. That’s right, Paul McCartney, who has the United Kingdom equivalent of a United States High School education, critcizing President George W. Bush who graduated with an undergraduate degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
I like the Beatles, but Paul needs to get a clue.

Lost Series Finale Review, The End not a complete explanation
The Lost Series Finale was Sunday, May 23, 2010 and while it is not traditionally dealt with here, we thought it would be fun to do so today. The Lost Finale left a number of questions unanswered, but was certainly an event worth watching. The remaining questions boil down to the “Man of Science/Man of Faith” dichotomy. The remaining Lost questions are those for the “main of science.” The “man of faith” has the answer in the finale. Spoilers below… Continue reading Lost Series Finale Review, The End not a complete explanation
Rep. Georgia Democrat Hank Johnson is worried about Guam Tipping over
Rep. Georgia Democrat Hank Johnson is worried about Guam Tipping over. One wonders what the people of Georgia were thinking electing someone with an IQ equal to his shoe size.
Throw out the old flag along with the Constitution…
With the “Health Insurance” vote, it has become clear of the two major parties, there is one party of freedom and one party of totalitarianism. Anyone intellectually honest knows the Constitution prohibits government actions such as this (or the Patriot Act for that matter). To see a document of enumerated, limited powers twisted into the opposite by power-hungry politicians sworn to protect and defend it is disgusting. The Founders are not just spinning in their graves, they have spun so fast they have completely disintegrated. Just like the protections in the Constitution.
So, the United States can now throw out the old flag while Congress throws out the last vestiges of the Constitution. As such, a more modern flag is needed. Several contenders to replace the old “Stars and Stripes” with a more timely flag are shown below.
Which do you prefer? Let us know in the comments!
Dan Rather – Obama couldn’t “sell watermelons on highway if a state trooper…”
Check out Racist Democrat, former CBS anchor Dan Rather saying that Obama couldn’t “sell watermelons on highway if a state trooper was flagging down traffic.”
Notice that he echoes Joe Biden’s comment about President Obama being “articulate.” Was Chris Matthews’ leg tingling then? Talk about out of touch! Notice how quickly Chris Matthews tries to change the topic and get Rather off the “watermelons” comment?
…independents will buy this argument, he just hasn’t been leading. Look at the health care bill, his number one priority and it took him for everything through and he had to compromise it to death. And a version of listen, he’s a nice person and very articulate, this is what’s going to be used against him, but he couldn’t sell watermelons on highway if a state trooper was flagging down traffic.”
Obama ends “leave internet alone” policy
“The US government’s policy of leaving the Internet alone is over, according to Obama’s top official at the Department of Commerce.” Assistant Secretary Larry Strickling, The Register and see the NTIA presentation.
The internet is too powerful for governments that want to control the thoughts of their population to leave alone. Along with the extension of the Patriot Act (WashingtonPost.com), the Obama Administration arguing in Federal Court that there is no “reasonable expectation of privacy” on cell phones – funny, we missed the ACLU, EFF, and the press having conniptions about the Democrat controlled Congress and Democrat President signing the extension – Washington has a nice tight grip on the communications of the country.
But, it is nice to have “government oversight” over everything – you wouldn’t want to do something without permission would you?
